Part 2-"Dress Up"

Is this considered abuse? Or is it okay to put my child through this? Our neighbor gave us this costume for Rorek. Her children were never the right size at the right time to wear it. I think he is pretty darn cute in it, even the picture of him crying ;).

2 week Well Being Check-up

We have determined, I think, that are little one is a "sucker" and needs the pacifer every once in a while to soothe himself. Otherwise, he drinks too much milk and gets sick to his stomach. At least, this is what " I think".

Today was a tiresome day. We headed to the doctor at 715am. We ended up being there for 2.5 hours. Rorek was weighed, measured, ear structure checked, Vit K shot in his thigh muscle, PKU test where they milked the blood from his heel, and the doctor checked him over. We also were given a prescription for a multi vitamin drop. Needless to say he screamed a lot and his face was a shade of red I haven't seen. He did sleep well the rest of the day due to the stress, but it screwed up his eating routine.
The afternoon was spent getting Rorek registered for his insurance and runnning a few errands at the PX. After, we met daddy for pizza at the bowling alley.

Lazy morn

We spent the morning napping, eating, and pooping. Then we were running around all afternoon. We got Rorek's birth certificate and registered him as a dependent on base. The first took 20 minutes, the second took 2.5 hours of waiting and only 3 minutes of face to face registering. So much for getting the rest of the errands done.

Tomorrow, we look forward to our first well being check up. I'm curious to see how much Rorek weighs, but I'm not looking forward to the screaming when they take his clothes and/or diaper off. He is definitely not a fan of being naked.
